Combs Waterkotte represented an Overland, MO man charged with voluntary manslaughter and armed criminal action after an argument at a backyard BBQ result in our client shooting and killing his brother-in-law. We immediately asserted a self-defense theory and took several deposition undermining the credibility of the state’s witnesses. Ultimately, our client pled guilty to the manslaughter charge while the ACA was dismissed. Our client received probation.
