What Marijuana Charges Are Still a Crime in St. Louis and Missouri?
Missouri Revised Statutes Article XIV §2, it is still illegal to:
- Sale or distribution of marijuana or paraphernalia to people under 21
- The purchase, possession, consumption or use of marijuana by someone under 21
- Operating or being in physical control of a vehicle while under the influence of marijuana
- Consuming marijuana while operating a vehicle
- Smoking marijuana inside a vehicle while it is being operated
- Possession or consumption of marijuana on any private or public school or university, or in a school bus
- Smoking marijuana in a public place or where smoking tobacco is prohibited
- Undertaking any task while under the influence of marijuana, if doing so would constitute negligence, recklessness, or professional malpractice
- Selling marijuana without a proper license
- Possessing more than 3oz (or 6oz for Missouri residents with a Medical Marijuana Card)
- Growing marijuana for commercial use without a license
- Growing marijuana for personal iuse without a personal cultivation identification card
