Combs Waterkotte represented a Jefferson County man on an appeal to the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District. Our client, who was represented by another attorney at trial, lost two cases at trial in which his neighbor and the neighbor’s wife filed Orders of Protection (restraining orders) against him. The trial judge granted both Orders of Protection. Our client hired Combs Waterkotte to file an appeal on his behalf. In the appellate court, we argued that the trial court erred in granting the Orders of Protection because there was insufficient evidence. The Court of Appeals agreed and REVERSED the trial court and VACATED the Orders of Protection.
